News from the featured groups

Throughout the year we'll focus on a different featured group each month. In February, we’re highlighting ‘Creative and innovative classrooms – thinking outside the box’, and the importance of critical thinking in schools. In March the spotlight will shift to ‘Mathematics, science and other STEM topics’, with activities and events dedicated to numeracy education.

Members can participate in discussions, share challenges and explore useful resources.

Celebrating 20 years of eTwinning throughout the year

eTwinning officially marked its 20th anniversary on 14 January 2025, kicking off a year of celebrations. We gathered with the National Support Organisations (NSOs) on 4 February, during the annual NSO coordination meeting. But the celebrations are just getting started! Many eTwinning countries are also organising their own anniversary activities.

Stay tuned and discover the local and national celebrations so far.

eTwinning project idea: Dance for your wellbeing

Featured in the 2024 eTwinning book, this eTwinning project kit explores how music and movement can help pupils manage their emotions and improve their wellbeing at school. It could be used as part of an eTwinning project or as a standalone classroom activity.

Take a look at the project kit and find out how to implement it in the classroom.

Closure of the legacy platform

As of 1 March 2025, the legacy platform will be officially discontinued. As a reminder, the legacy platform contains the TwinSpaces of eTwinning projects created up to June 2022. We encourage all eTwinners to save any important materials from their old TwinSpace by the end of February 2025.
