EMA publishes scientific advice on essential substances for equine treatment

The guidance, published on 19 July 2024, is in response to a request from the European Commission and aligns with Regulation (EU) 2019/6. The advice establishes a list of substances which are either essential for the treatment of equine species or provide added clinical benefit compared to other available treatments.
