Antimicrobial sales and use (ASU) Platform

To ensure Member State readiness, the Agency continues to hold dedicated change management meetings. Furthermore, EMA has scheduled two training sessions with the aim of showcasing the system functionalities and provide guidance. The sessions will address data quality (25 September) and the animal population data protocol (27 November) and will be recorded and uploaded in the EU NTC. Formal invitations to these webinars will be sent out to the relevant stakeholders.

Following the system’s go-live, responsible national competent authorities are expected to submit the collected data related to antimicrobial sales and use for cattle, pigs, chickens and turkeys for the year 2023 by 30 June 2024.
