AquaPhoenix, a new Horizon 2020 project for sludge collection in Norway and Åland, set to kick off

AquaPhoenix, a new EU-funded project starting in January 2025, will see more than 30 research partners in total working with industrial players in the region to collect sludge from fish farms and measure its impact on the environment.

date:  18/09/2024

This project will help fish farmers operate in a more sustainable way by documenting the effect that sludge collection can have on improving the marine environment in the fjords.

Circular technology for fish farms will reduce the impact on the climate, decrease pressure on the fjords and get more fish from each plant.
