The necessity for fishing and aquaculture in the EU to shift away from fossil fuels as quickly as feasible is becoming more and more pressing. This is for the sector’s profitability, sustainability and resilience, in addition to helping to achieve the goals of the European Green Deal, which include lowering GHG emissions.
